Not really thick porcelain, don't burn your lip! The handle looks like it'd be difficult to hold, but contrarily, it is comfortable. These tea talents are verrry giftable.The blue and white though, isn't as vibrant or the blue isn't as bold as the picture. The print is faded looking. Still, it is a gorgeous set and it's mine now :)

I am OBSESSED with this kit. It stepped up my matcha game in a way I didn't expect. I can't imagine making matcha without it now.

Like the set a lot. Everything feels good quality. Only thing I don't like is small diameter of the bowl. You don't have enough space to shake the matcha to make it froathy.

This is actually a very nice basic tea set for macha. I use it almost daily, and the quality is exactly what you would expect it to be for the cost. I would purchase it again.

This is a great matcha set for beginners or those new to match. Only downside would be the chasen (whisk). I recommend looking for a better quality chasen after learning with the provided whisk.
