The set is gorgeous and has everything you need. The cloth is a bit low quality, but I did not get the set to do ceremonies, just for daily matcha drinking, so I don't have a need for the cloth. The cup was was prettier than expected. Really good value.

I don’t often write reviews but I felt inclined to do so for this set. This is truly such a beautiful tea set. My grandma was from Japan and I remember her making tea using a set very similar to this one. The tea cloth is almost identical to the one she used. It makes the tea making process into a experience and helps to create ritual and routine. I genuinely look forward to making tea in the morning using this. It also comes with a tiny wooden duck which I regretfully broke when I dropped it from the counter. Highly highly recommend this set to someone who is looking create a ritual with tea.

I'm really astounded on how good this looks for the price. I really wanted to learn how to do a traditional tea ceremony but the real genuine pieces are so expensive! This does more than the trick. Great find!

It's beautiful I love it! Hey folks, make sure you soak your chasen(whisk) in hot water before you make your 1st batch of Matcha. I wish the Chawan (bowl) was a smidge bigger.

I bought my own matcha tea set second hand (4 pieces - whisk, bowl, scoop, holder for $22) since these sets can be really pricey. But I ended up ordering 2 of these as graduation presents despite this product only having 2 5-star reviews at the time, since the price was decent especially for being 9 pieces and my friends wanted their own after I would rave about mine. I ended up opening them both just to make sure everything was complete and to inspect the contents of the boxes, and I must say, THE QUALITY IS GREAT! Especially for less than $40, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND! I’m honestly thinking about buying a couple more for myself and as future gifts haha
