You will get many cups from a small amount. Great flavor. Value for your dollar is off the chart. Enjoy!

I've had maybe a dozen different puer tea and I was hesitant to buy one without knowing anything about it but it turned out to be a good puer tea. It tastes earthy like a puer tea should and it breaks apart like one as well. So yeah, overall, I like it and will probably order it again.

Brew it 3-5 minutes, while it is not my number one favorite, it is a close 3... No sugar needed5 minutes MAX after 5 minutes you might need sugar, 5 or less, no sugar needed :)

The quality of the tea is solid, and we have no complaints about the taste, but the tea cake is tiny compared to what you can get for the same price in Asian grocery stores. For the same price (or even less), you can get a puer tea cake twice the size (similar quality). I guess you pay more for the convenience factor.

Despite its very dark color, this is a delicate tasting tea. It really does not need sugar, and if you add a little too much, that is all you taste. If it had a little more depth, strength and complexity, I would give it five stars. Probably for many, it will be a five-star tea. It is delicious, but just a little too light tasting for me. Still I will order this tea again because variety is nice.

Only a teaspoonful of the broken up tea is needed for about half a litre. Colour of the tea is deep amber (very pleasing), aroma + flavour is mild and earthy, almost no finish/after taste. The packaging was smaller than expected (compared to the ones I am used to buying from Chinese grocery stores) and it comes with a plastic ziplock bag to keep the tea in once it has been opened.

This tea is smooth which little surprise me for new raw Pu Erh ; compress with buds of tree, nice green smell. Just little more of a bit broken.

This a reallt great pu-erh tea, however the issue I have is that it's not really that bitter. Which makes sense it's been aged for a long time. If you like bitter then perhaps find something else. If you smooth then go for this. I still really enjoy it, so I'll be keeping it.

It's definitely got an interesting smell and taste to it, almost reminds me of a swamp or pond smell mixed with tea. Was nice to have a cheap option to delve into the world of fermented teas with and would recommend this for others who want to get a general idea and do the same. Being my first, I can't give the greatest opinion but I have a feeling this is more of a mild taste than bold and funky.

Not a very strong taste, but also no fragrance or chemical taste either. Balanced, I’ll leave it for a minute an a half each time, and it turns out good. Remember you will need to pour hot water on it first, discard the water and let the tea leaves come alive, so to say, before making your actual cup.

I'm used to large leafed pu-erh tea, which, for long time tea drinkers, indicates quality. This has a nice smooth taste. It sometimes takes a while to find the right leaf to water ratio. It's missing the very distinctive smoky and earthy pu-erh taste that I associate with pu-erh. It's still a good, dark tea. High caffeine content without the intensity of coffee. It does not have the organic seal although it is advertised as organic.

I recommend this tea based on the following:1. Arrived quickly and packaged well.2. Nicely pressed tea cake.3. Tea has a pleasant yet bold earthy taste; the taste is somewhat woody.4. The smell of the tea cake is similar to the taste. It's fresh and not musty at all.5. The tea has a nice color.6. I have got about six maybe more steeps per serving. The first steep is one minute; adding a minute for each steep.7. Overall, great tea for what you pay for. However, I was little disappointed that:1. The description of the tea indicates aged Puerh Tea but the box was stamped 20202. The description of the tea states organic. No where on the box does the word organic appear in English or Chinese.

This is actually a decent shou pu'erh, not lacking in quality. My only complaint is that it is advertised as a 2009 tea cake, yet the wrapper has 2018 stamped on it. This tea is smooth with a thick mouth feel. Ripe banana, wet wood.

I don't have enough knowledge or experience with this type of tea to give it a 5-star rating so I've rated it according to my own experience. I love the fact that the more the leaves are steeped, the better it gets (atleast according to online research).Every time that I make a pot of tea, I steep more pots using the same tea leaves. Sometimes after the first steep I place the leaves in a small plastic bag and freeze them. I give a number per bag indicating how many steeps I've made from those leave and update the number with each steep. The reason for this is that I sometimes want a strong first steep which explains why I have about 3 bags on the go.The tea has a nice, mild flavour and I often use it as a base tea when I make a mix of herbal teas in a pot.

Wonderful packaging, but it is hard to seal it properly after opening. I suggest a ziplock to keep in flavor. The flavor is nice and has mild floral notes. It is quite nice and I would purchase it again.

Thought I did this previously. I am traveling for Christmas season and tea not in wrappers. Not sure what is what.by sight. Vision impaired. In general love black tea. Taste, smell and treat accordingly. Too pungent l rinse more and/ or adjust steping methods.
