I recommend this tea based on the following:1. Arrived quickly and packaged well.2. Nicely pressed tea cake.3. Tea has a pleasant yet bold earthy taste; the taste is somewhat woody.4. The smell of the tea cake is similar to the taste. It's fresh and not musty at all.5. The tea has a nice color.6. I have got about six maybe more steeps per serving. The first steep is one minute; adding a minute for each steep.7. Overall, great tea for what you pay for. However, I was little disappointed that:1. The description of the tea indicates aged Puerh Tea but the box was stamped 20202. The description of the tea states organic. No where on the box does the word organic appear in English or Chinese.

Just a teaspoon of this tea is all it takes to prepare a wonderfully flavorful treat. Place 1 teaspoon of tea in clay pot, cover with hot water, let set for 5 seconds then pour out. This rinses tea and brings teas leafs to life. Pour second batch of water, let set for only 10 seconds and pour thru strainer into cup of your choice and enjoy. Great for digestion. I enjoy every day half hour after breakfast and lunch.

I bought the smaller cake because I wanted to try it. Let me say that i was so surprised by how clean and full bodied this tea is for the price. Any beginner or regular puer tea drinker would enjoy this as a daily tea. I prepared it the usual way of blooming and tossing the first steep and immediately the aroma was wonderful. I'll be buying the larger size for sure.

I was iffy buying pu-erh online, but this is a great tea... clearly not gushu, but the taste is phenomenal; it has the earthy, woodsy undertones, but carries the sweet dark plum, mushed banana flavors to the finish, which lasts quite some time.If brewed a little harder, on the second, thirdish infusion, you can get some astringency and bitterness if desired. Still, overall, this is a very warm, sweet, mellow pu-erh worth the price for everyday drinking.I strongly recommend a Yixing clay teapot when brewing any pu-erh.
